Ready Mix Services
King’s Material, Inc. services Linn County and surrounding areas with ready mixed concrete. King’s Concrete offers the only centrally batched concrete in the service area. This “pre-mixed” concrete offers a fully mixed product in 30 seconds. A dry batch plant, to achieve equal mixing, would require approximately 5-6 minutes average mix time and would depend on each individual driver to consistently do so. We service customers large and small and pride ourselves with producing quality concrete at competitive prices.
King’s Material personnel are active in the Iowa Ready Mix Concrete Association (IRMCA), the technical committee (IRMCA), board of the National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA), members of the Concrete Foundation Association and the Tilt-up Concrete Association. In continuous operation since 1882, King’s now batches from a Con-E-Co, State-of-the-art plant with Alkon Spectrum batch controls. The addition of Trimview Truck Tracking in the summer of 2007 monitors driver efficiency and safety.
