KINGS- Stairs

The KING’S-stair® is an attractive, easy to install stair system made of durable concrete. The system is designed to be flexible enough to be used in a wide variety of stair projects and the perfect complement to your retaining wall project. The KING’S-stair® is also a simple way to install flower and planter boxes and makes a great mailbox base.

Installation Instructions

  • Set the KINGS-stair unit on 2" of crushed limestone.
  • Add additional limestone fill to the inside of the unit. Compact to within 3" of top.
  • Install leveling bed of sand.
  • Lay pavers in the unit according to the pattern desired.
  • Compact pavers with a rubber mallet. Sweep into joints.
  • Repeat steps 1 to 5 until project is completed.

Note: each unit requires 7.5 - 4x8 pavers.

The Clear Lake location began their block manufacturing operation in 1945 as Zeidler Concrete Products. In 2003 Zeidler was purchased by Dakota Red Corporation. The name remained Zeidler Concrete Products until January 2006 when it was changed to Marquart Concrete Products.
